About

Missional Order exists to help you establish rhythms in your life that will, by grace, help you walk more closely with Jesus and connect you with others who are trying to do the same. The main challenge to an online community like this is, quite simply, the distance and anonymity of the internet. That’s why we’re convinced that this site will become useful to you primarily as you network with other believers and encourage each other to pursue the redemptive daily rhythms of the missio dei.

At this point, the best way to get involved in the conversations here is to interact in the comments section of any and every post that sparks your interest or triggers your curiosity. So go ahead and speak your mind. We pray this e-forum will help you build friendships with people who are walking down the same path you are.

If Missional Order resonates with you, be sure to visit often to take advantage of the weekly “blog rhythm” or posting schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: “Sacred Rhythm”
Tuesday: “Continuous Formation”
Thursday: “Participation in the Missio Dei”

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

            • He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Why A Missional Order?

This site exists for two big-picture reasons. On the one hand, we want to counteract some negative trends that are prevalent in society today. Call that our combative side. More important, we think that the missional approach will help us capture the positive dynamics that Jesus wants to be part of every life.

1) Punctuate each day with a rhythm that is sacred. 2) Exert ourselves in the continuous formation of character.

3) Participate in the missio Dei, the mission of God.
